Are you already thinking about next ski season? Well, the Ikon Pass is, too.
The popular ski pass sold by Alterra Mountain Company announced that SilverStar Mountain, a popular resort in British Columbia, Canada, will be joining its ranks for the winter 26/27 season.
“British Columbia is home to some of Canada’s best mountain experiences in the world, and Ikon Pass holders now get access to SilverStar Mountain, alongside Revelstoke, SkiBig3, Cypress Mountain, RED Mountain, Panorama, and Sun Peaks Resort,” said Matt Bowers, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Alterra Mountain Company. “We are thrilled to expand our access in Canada for Ikon Pass holders and welcome SilverStar to the Ikon Pass community for the 26/27 winter season.”
Ikon Pass holders will get seven days of access at SilverStar, and Ikon Base Pass holders will get five days. SilverStar was featured as a “bonus mountain” with two days of access during the winter 25/26 season.

The Ikon Pass’s biggest rival, the Epic Pass, has also expanded its reach into British Columbia in recent years. Whistler Blackcomb, the largest ski resort in North America, is an Epic Pass resort, and popular haunts like Kicking Horse, Kimberley, and Fernie are included as partner resorts.
The additions in British Columbia come as more American skiers flee North in search of colder temperatures and deeper snow, and as the popularity of the mega-passes spreads among Canadians.
The Ikon Pass also announced that Giants Ridge, Minnesota, will join as a Bonus Mountain for the winter 26/27 season.
Ikon Passes for next season are currently starting at $1,349 ($1,819 CAD), and Ikon Base passes start at $924 ($1,249 CAD). Keep reading for more on SilverStar Mountain.
