Winter might be over, but Woodward Copper’s hike-access park is getting ready to open for its summer season.
Both the Barn at Woodward and the Summer Hike Park at Copper Mountain, Colorado, are scheduled to open on June 5, 2026, to meet all your summer training needs.
At the end of the season, Copper Mountain harvested a huge pile of snow from the base of the superpipe in order to build the summer park. The park offers a variety of rails, boxes, and tubes of all difficulties for skiers and riders of all levels. Starting this year, the Hike Park will be open four days a week as long as snow conditions allow. Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., skiers can access the park with a $25 day ticket or a season pass for $249.
At the heart of Woodward Copper is the Barn, which also opens on June 5th. The nearly 20,000-square-foot building features multiple skate, scooter, and BMX zones, as well as indoor ParkSki and Burton ParkBoard training. There’s also a spring floor, tumble track, five Olympic-grade flybed trampolines, and a 12′ x 12′ Super Trampoline, for all the aerial action sports training you can imagine.
The Barn is open Friday-Sunday from 2pm-8pm on Friday and 12pm-8pm on Saturday/Sunday. A one-year unlimited access pass to the Barn is $299 and drop in sessions are available for $64.
Woodward has a stacked roster of camps hosted by some of the best pro athletes and top brands around this summer too. Brands like Surface Skis, Atomic, and Vishnu all have signature sessions on the calendar at Woodward. Campers can also join pros like Tom Wallisch alongside Level 1 for a signature session. Each session also has a snowboard counterpart brand or athlete host for our single-planked friends.
