There are countless miles of single track for mountain bikers to access in the Salt Lake City area, but when it comes to lift-served, gravity-fueled experiences, the region is surprisingly lacking.
Snowbasin, one of the state’s under-the-radar ski resorts, is taking a big step to fix that this summer with the opening of its brand-spanking-new bike park.
The resort’s Bike Park Powered by SCOTT will open to the public on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, 2026. Tickets are just $29 for kids and $39 for adults. The park will remain open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through October 11.
In addition to regular weekend operations, Snowbasin will host Sunset Social Bike Park Access days on Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., starting July 2 and ending September 24.
It all sounds exciting, but what does the bike park actually look like? Well, according to Snowbasin, the resort is starting small for its initial offering, but expansions are planned and expected in the coming seasons.
For Summer 2026, Snowbasin’s Bike Park Powered by SCOTT will have four trails of varying abilities. All trails will be accessed by the Littlecat Express lift, offering about 200 vertical feet of descent. See below for the trail names and trail map.

Here’s how Snowbasin describes the bike park’s trail design:
“Custom-built trails off Littlecat Express are designed for progression, from mellow beginner-friendly runs with dirt berms and wooden skill features to advanced flow trails loaded with tabletops, step-downs, and wooden features throughout. The park is built to grow, with more trails and features planned for future seasons.”
Translation: don’t expect a big, gnarly bike park for the opening season, but you can look forward to fast flow, big berms, and wooden features that you would expect at a modern bike park.
While some ski resorts are closing their bike parks, it’s encouraging to see Snowbasin take a huge leap into the sport. Here’s hoping it pans out. Lift-served bike parks at ski resorts are the best.
